Guess What?
Mom and Dad finally found a day to hit the slopes. Mom Figuratively, Dad literally but only once.
We went to White Pass which has become our favorite spot, nice trails, new snow, and Sr. Lift tickets are only $22 for half day. (Mom had practice first this morning and we figured that would be plenty since it's been two years since we skied. Sorry, no pics. It was a good ski day but not a blue sky pic day.
Heidi, Get your knee back in shape. We're thinking Tahoe next yr. Jared, We're thinking Utah also.

Jump on It

Last weekend we went to this place with some friends. It's basically a bunch of indoor trampolines. Since Mia loves to jump, she thought it was a lot of fun. The last two pics are the girls playing ring around the rosies (Mia plays "rosies" all day long...and by herself - or sometimes she drags duck into it!)

Happy Camden

Camden was feeling pretty happy this afternoon. His laugh is so funny and cute, I just had to share. I hope you can hear it! For the most part, he is 17 pounds of jolliness! Sorry the lighting's not the best...I wasn't planning on a photo shoot. :>)

Happy Valentine's Day

I hope you all had a great v-day. Ours was pretty low key and we did a family date/dinner at the Olive Garden and Mia was surprisingly good :) I tried to upload a valentine greeting to our blog, but for some reason could only get in on the RIchards' blog...so if want to see it, click on my name and then click on the RIchards' blog and you can view it. We're spending the weekend in Mapleton watching our 5 nieces and nephews...wish us luck :)

POOP!

*I wrote this last night, but then my internet stopped working...so I'm posting it a day later! Enjoy!

Did I get your attention?! I'm overly joyed and have to share with someone...Mia pooped in the toilet tonight! Hooray! Really, you have no idea how thrilled I am (well, those of you who have potty trained probably do!). Potty training has actually been going well. Except for my big mistake of not hiding all her diapers good enough - I removed all her diapers from where she would normally find them, so when we started we showed her that there were no more diapers left and she accepted that. Until the morning of day #2 when she found her diapers and then wanted one. Oh no! We started Sat. morning and she went bare bum for 2 days and had only 1 accident. Then today, we put on underwear and she thinks it's a diaper or something. But as the day went on, there was improvement. And after more than 48 hours of not pooping she finally pooped tonight. It was seriously like pulling teeth though. You could tell she needed to, but she did not want to sit on the toilet, and Mia is a stubborn girl. Throughout this entire process she has only gone to the bathroom when she wants to. I tried the whole - have her go and sit on the toilet every 30 mins. or so - but she wouldn't. But then she would tell me when she needed to go. Anyway, I basically pinned her in the bathroom for 30 mins., bribed her with everything I could think of (extra treats, and the clincher...her binky for bedtime!), and when the time was right, I literally picked her up and sat her on the toilet! So that's my good news. Hopefully the week will continue to go well. Oh, and sorry to disappoint, but no pictures :)

*update - day #4 is going well. No accidents, except she didn't poop until I put her in a pull-up for nap time, same that she did on day #1. I may be getting rid of the pull-ups for naps if this is going to be her pattern.

We're not sure if we want to be big USC fans or not, but a Kindergarten teacher has extra tickets a lot. How can you say no?
