There are some really crafty people out there, but I am just not one of them!! But I do copy ideas like the best of them. I just made the purse for my peeps for February's visit. And chocolate coins are everywhere right now b/c of Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day.

Richards Christmas Eve

For Christmas Eve we had Jared's parents, his brother Dan (& wife Melissa & 4 kids), his younger brother Micah, and Melissa's younger brother Brett over for fondue. Of course it was super yummy. 8 adults and 6 kids made for a fun night. Mia totally LOVED the fondue this year, especially poking the meat with her fork and cooking it :)

Gavin & his cousin Summer enjoyed "sampling" the desserts later onChristmas jammiesAnd we actually got a decent family picture before the night was over!

Recent Photos

Jeff & Heidi stopped by on their way home from their cruise, and Camden helped me crush the candy canes for peppermint snowballs. Also, it was 77•F yesterday, so we spent an hour down at the beach!

Australia

We had an awesome time in Australia! Thank you sooooo much mom and dad for coming out and watching the kids! This is just a "sampling" of some pics. you can see more and read about the trip (and get info on all these pics) on my blog: jaruu.blogspot.comyes, it was just as ghetto as the one we grew up with in South Sound Mall :) And they had them everywhere!

Twilight

The Friday before we left for Australia mom flew into Utah and so she got to hang out with me and my friends and go see Twilight with us. The movie started at 10 pm, but of course we made an evening out of it!

Dinner at my favorite restaurant, ZuppasThen off to a friends house for a Twilight party! We played a trivia game, at way too many Twilight themed desserts, and most of us had matching hair accessories :) Just in case you are wondering about my sanity right about now I would just like you to know that I did really enjoy the books and the movie was fabulous, but me and my friends are not crazy fans (ok...well some of my friends may be!) but it's just fun to act like a teenager every once in a while, right? It was so fun to have mom around to hang out with for an evening!

H1N1 Clinic

We went and got our vaccinations at a drive-through-clinic in Calabasas the week before Thanksgiving....we waited in line for 4 hours!! Camden has barely even flinched when getting shots, but as you can see, he was not thrilled about this thing going up his nose!

Baby News

We had our 20 week ultrasound this morning. Everything looks great...Jared even asked the ultrasound tech to check for 6 fingers :) It looks like this one will just have 5, but you never know!

I feel great still and we're super excited to be having...

Richards Halloween

Our ward Trunk-or-Treat on Tuesday. Also the first snow in the valley. It was REALLY cold and windy. Mia was Sleeping Beauty this year

the Wild, Wild, West!

We went with the "Cowboys and Indians" theme this year. I got Scott to put the hat on for the picture, but I could never get Camden to put on his feather headband! And his war paint was smeared off in about 10 minutes. haha. Oh well! We had a really fun time!

Halloween 2009

Do I at least get a shiny new quarter for getting my pics on here second???? Payton was the Grim Reaper (2nd year in a row....his choice....easy for me!), Spencer was a Ninja, Olivia was Snow White, and Zach was Spiderman.

In the picture below, Zach was trying his best to do his web slinging hands. This was Livi's scared/mad face due to the ninja and his swords

Once we got Zach to leave his mask on for pictures, he didn't take it off the whole entire night.
