Gavin turned 18 months - hurray for Nursery!!!
He made a huge stride and now weighs 22 lbs (7% - it's the first time he's been over 1.5 % since 3 months!) and is average for his height
Mia "helped" me make my first ever homemade carrot cake - YUM! 
And then she took this picture of me eating it - pretty good for a 3 year old!
I survived my first attempt at canning salsa last weekend. 
Jared surprised me with this in our loft (where the toys/tv used t0 be). 
We had been talking about building shelves for the toys, tv, etc...for awhile, and Jared decided he liked this better. So he had it done. Without telling me. I wasn't quite so sure at first (it's not exactly what I was envisioning for the space), but it's growing on me, and it's obviously not going anywhere :) We will eventually get a flat screen tv and put the "kids" dvd/vcr player out there again.
